Electro-Voice has been manufacturing microphones for over 80 years, with a number of techonlogical inovations under their belt. Some of Electro-Voice's most renowned microphones, such as the 635A interview microphone, are still being manufactured and used across the globe.  In November this year Franz Menke -International Microhpones Sales Manager from Electro-Voice visited our shores, and took the EV microphones on a national tour with a taste of the new EV R300 wireless microphone, which will be available early 2011.  This new addition to the EV wireless microphone brings EV's state-of-the-art wireless mic technology to a more affordable package, without compromising on quality and still offering professional  performance .  Franz Menke did some in-house workshops with the Prosound sales people, as well as launches in Johannesburg and Durban, as well as visits to key dealers in Cape Town.  SAMA-nominee vocalist Lindsay McGuire  demo'ed the new EV R300 wireless mics, showcasing the capabilites of this new model.
